| Still-life
with flowers, fruits and jars are the main motifs in Brita Linius' art works and the artist gets much
of her inspiration to her paintings from Italy where she have travelled
and worked for several years. However, her art as a whole is
obviously Scandinavian.
In order to accentuate the material,
Brita Linius developed her own technique, AcrylicCollage on canvas. This
technique makes it possible to work out a three-dimensional surface on
the canvas where many fine details are seen - details which,
unfortunately, can't be fully enjoyed on a computer monitor. |
