|
| I started my artistic career relatively late. For several years I studied with lecturer of art, Kurt Smith and painter Vibeke Jorgensen and during these studies
my interest slowly turned in the direction of still-life paintings with its countless variations. |
| In order to accentuate the material I developed a technique which makes it possible to work out a
kind of 'three-dimensional' surface on the canvas where many details can be
seen.
As Danish painters from the 18th and 19th century did, I also feel much pleasure by travelling to Italy on study tours.
Here I find inspiration for my paintings such as flowers, fruits, jars,
antique Roman amphora's, columns etc. ....
However, the Scandinavian coolness is still present in my paintings.

| It's my
pleasure to have decorated, exhibited and sold to companies and galleries in Denmark as well as to private collectors in the USA, Canada, Holland and Sweden.
I’m also happy that reputable fine art publishers are representing my artworks in North America where my paintings are reproduced as fine art posters and gicleé prints.
Copenhagen Art Gallery is representing me in Denmark.
